How old was your little one when they first had a sit? How old were they when they first had a proper little ride?

I can't wait to get my little boy on one of ours but he's only 17 weeks. :)

Both mine were sitting on them as soon as they could support there head! :D

My youngest is 20 months and loves riding our mini Shetland and trots round with someone holding her- she giggles the whole time! Will try and post a pic!

Does help that we have a fantastic little pony! :)

6 months when she sat on a sheltie, then 14 months when she rode my pony yas, with me leading and daddy holding her on. She loves it, she's 19 months now and gets really excited about riding, she's very insistent that we put a 'hat on'...

As soon as she could support her own head for a short time for a first sit, so a few weeks old. When she could support her back for a few strides of walk. At 6mnths doing 10 min walks on an aged safe shettie. A few times a week, being held on my v safe 14.2 to & from the field, & quick sits on other safe ponies & horses. And screaming blue murder when lifted off! Trotting by 1, cantering same aged shettie on the lr by 2. Now 7 & pony mad.

Horses247 those pics are adorable! My little boy first sat on one of mine at 16 weeks, he's now 26 weeks and loves it! They are very good as he sits there bouncing and squealing :D
