We are now ready to accept your submissions for the first HHO Photo Competition in aid of the Silver Florin Equine Charity.
The categories are as follows:
Equine classes
1. Head shot - your best headshot.
2. Action shot - in the field, over the jumps, X-country, if it has movement, enter it!
3. Best cute horse pic - foals, youngsters, silly smiles, if it has the 'aw' factor, it fits!
4. Best horse - mare, gelding, stallion, the best horse wins!
Other classes
1. Land/seascape - all your beautiful views.
2. All pets to include the more exotic to include the more exotic - rats and cats, dogs and pigs, lizards and bugs!
3. Wildlife - anything wild.
4. Sunset/Sunrise - the beauty of a new day or the sleepiness of the end of the day.
5. Flora - flowers, shrubs, anything goes.
6. Abstract/Arty/Random - get creative!
The start date of the competition is today - so get out and snapping. We will accept submissions until 01/01/2009, so we want those crisp winter shots from you all.
Voting will commence on the 02/01/2009 and close on 31/01/2009. All winners will be notified by 14/02/2009.
Winners will be the top 3 pictures in each category as voted for by anyone who wants to vote. The winners will receive a rosette and a beautiful card especially made for the competition by HackneyLass2
