HHO, Please.......

Actually, I think the board isn't moderated tightly enough, compared to some others - and if people are worried by the witch hunts or bullying behaviour they witness they get ridiculed by the same group of people.

........ let free discussion take place on this Board.

It is getting really out of hand!

Disagree with this very strongly, as I've experianced a board where the mods were very partisan and over zealous in stamping out anyone who dare to have their own opinion.

As you say, there are plenty of tightly moderated horse boards for people to use if they prefer that approach. The attraction of HHO is that, in the past, it has only been very lightly moderated and it would be a shame if that was to change.

I agree with AmyMay and TGM. One of the things which attracted me to this forum is that you can have an opinion and discuss a huge range of topics. Recently I have noticed the closing of threads and I can't see why.

It makes me angry, I tried to get some answers but all I got was rudeness by certain people who were involved by sounds off it. Than when people start putting their point across and the org people seemed to back off into the background it get closed. Will all iv learnt is " what a complete mess up"

Not true, within a minute of spelling a swear word incorrect last night I had an infraction :) telling me to behave.
Thou shalt not curse or if i do at least spell it right :p

If threads descend into a full on flame war with harsh words being said, especially where people know who other people are in real life, legal action can be taken - only it's the admin of the board who gets into trouble, not the lovely people who've been chatting politely.

Posting on an MB is a privilege not a right, you are a guest in the admin's house and should conduct yourself in such a manner.

This was the first time it had happened to me! I left the thread for 10 mins, popped back to see who else was agreeing/disagreeing with me and it was all gone!
Did it go down hill during that 10mins. Whilst I was there yes some were agreeing , some were disagreeing but I saw nothing that would have resulted in it being pulled.

Unless........
here we go again
The person who started the thread thought it showed them in a very bad light and somehow managed to get HHO to delete it??
