Through HHO I've learnt how to be prepared and face that time when I have to deal with the decision of having a horse PTS..It's the thing I am most scared of but hearing people's heartwrenching stories on here and their bravery and the support that comes back the other way is humbling and given me lots of knowledge on what's involved. I just know you'll be there for me too when that time comes for my chap and it will get me through (sounds like I've been at the gin but I've only had a pint of coke!)
I have learnt that there are loads of experienced people out there, and there are loads of different opinions/methods, which have taught me things I didn't know/never thought of which really make sense!
Oh and my favourite thing, I know sod all about breeding, just recently posted on my youngsters mum's bloodline and got responses of interesting and lengthy information back! I really appreciated it as they had to look the bloodlines up and relay it all to me again (time consuming)! xx
Absolutely loads of stuff! I was such a novice when I first bought my horse.
1. That I'm not the only one with a broken horse
2. That so many things can go wrong with horses!
3. Get a good physio-when I first bought mine I had no idea of this. But in every day life, people have actually taken the mick out of how over the top and unnecessary it is.
4. How to disguise a really rank tasting supplement

What have you learnt from HHO?

For gods sake never say anything about your livery yard, cos there is always someone from the yard reading who will put their own unique interpretation on what you have written and use it to cause trouble for you

OMG That is sooo true! I cringe when I read what some people write!
For me - I've learned so much I wouldn't know where to start!
