HHP or Equissage? What do you think?

I had a demo from equissage which I have to say was very hard sell. I did buy one but had to send it back a week later when my horse really didn't like it. I felt pressured at the time to be fair and should have thought about it. I liked the idea but not some of the features. The pad didn't really fit very nicely, it is like having clippers on constantly, is fairly bulky to put on and i wouldn't really walk away from my horse wearing one.

I then read about HHP in good old horse and hound last week. It seems fab I have to say. Does exactly the same as the equissage BUT is a rug and the pads go from front to back across the whole body and is silent!! Before I have them out to demo does anyone have any thoughts.

My horse, like Richard Davidsons, would require it for warming up and cooling down purposes. Will speed it all up for me. Anyone got one or any thoughts on them?

I also am not an Equissage fan having used them at lots of different yards in the past it never really seemed a good fit ( always felt like it rattle the horses bones!). My horse hated it esp as he is v high withered. I don't have any experience of the HHP rug however my Armadillo magnetic rug is brilliant. I bought it for my small hunter about 7 years ago and it is always in constant use. I am fairly sceptical about the pros of magnets but our 18 year old hunting cob is soo much better for it and is hardly ever stiff any more despite having a history of stifle problems and arthritus.

Sorry not much help!

but missed out on handh

Saw the HHP at Burghley (think it was that one) was virtually silent and looked really good - guy quoted £1700 but that is the rug only not the leg wraps or anything.

Was really nice quality too - would be too hot for my lad to use in the summer though as he sweats like a pig!
