Stilebridge is a fantastic place to compete at. Vanessa who runs and organises competitions is really lovely and very helpful. There is a really nice atmosphere and everyone is very friendly.
Competition is usually a really good standard for both affiliated and unaffiliated competitions.
Good Luck

Hi P. It's a nice friendly place, competition/turnout is generally good but I wouldn't say 'stiff' - you don't get many 'clueless' combinations there (you know the sort - hopeless cobs in arab plaits ridden by someone who has no concept of 'corners' or diagonals..!). I think if you get placed there you can give yourself a pat on the back BUT if you don't, you're unlikely to feel outclassed or uncomfortable. If you don't do so well, you're likely to get genuinely constructive comments, you won't get looked down on.

Hope you enjoy it!

Tutt, tutt, cant believe you ate my choccy pud boo hoo
