Hello from New Zealand, I found this forum from googling various things and it’s been really helpful for a variety of things (horses!) I have a retired TB mare that was bought as my riding horse but has ended up having DSLD so I’ve stolen my daughter’s horse who I adore but can be a spooky boy ? I struggle a bit with nerves - I had an absolute bombproof horse who passed away at 29 who I felt so safe on so it’s just baby steps. Anyway hello all ?

It sure does feel like bad luck, having had a head shaker and horse with epilepsy symptoms I feel like I’m paying bingo of all the things that could go wrong.
Anyway her’s seems to be a more stable type, she’s 22 and while her hind fetlocks are dropped they haven’t gotten worse and they are nowhere near as bad as some of the photos I’ve seen of young horses with their fetlocks on the ground ?
If I can figure out how to upload photos I’ll post pictures of her ?
