I had an email back saying....
I am sorry that you have been disappointed with you most recent purchase of Hi-Fi Lite. Basically due to the natural variation we experience in our feeds unlike something like a coarse mix they do not always fill the same volume in a bag or feed bin. The alfalfa that we use in the Hi-Fi Lite is a naturally leafy plant and to produce a nutritionally consistent product we have to blend different ratios of alfalfa leaf and stalk so it can vary from bag to bag. Sometimes this can mean that the Hi-Fi Lite may contain a little leafier material that is denser than the stalkier material and therefore doesnt fill the bag in the same way. I hope I have gone some way to explain the reason for the variation. If you are unhappy with this bag of feed in any other way then please could you send a sample (about a scoopful) along with the batch number and best before date to the Freepost address below: -

Is anyone going to send off a sample? I'm still not completely satisfied. If we are getting a less amount in the bags surely its not value for for money?
