Hi folks this is my intro post ! I’ll be asking a few questions about a vintage Rice horse box, from brake rod postioning to can you fit this here etc.
We’ve invested in ( I believe to be a mk1 rice horse box ) for a mobile coffee business, it’s old but looking good, but front coupling problems to brake lever not working to brake rods all misshaped, I know this is straight i to it ! But I’m 100% sure this is the best place to ask !

Hi Dave and welcome.
I have a geriatric rice trailer, with the screw on hitch.OH has just fixed my whole braking system as he 'wasn't happy with it'.

Hi, it would be fantastic to have a chat with OH regarding the brake rod laid out, is he available to chat on here, qualified expert or not , he’s probably experienced what I’m looking & about to deal with , thank you 👍
 
This is probably a limited resource. But there was a really good group on Facebook when I was doing up trailers. I think it was vintage rice trailers, or rice trailers. If you cant find it let me know and I'll have a proper look. There was people on there who built them and they had access to the original paperwork etc
