Hi, I would like some help please!

Hi, Im new to this forum, hope your all ok!
I have a question and I hope you all can help.
I have a 14.3hh Piebald cob, gelding, he is 8 in july, i have owned him since we was 3, he is of fantastic nature and is 100% with everything, currently he is being used a riding school horse and has kids from the age of 2/3 upwards on him, he is bomb proof, defineatly an ideal 1st horse, he was my first horse and he taught me everything i know, he is a good looking boy! Smokee and I have competed in showjumping and cross country and some little shows and once had a day out hunting!
I would like to know how much you think he may be worth approximatly.
Thank you very much
hope you all had a great weekend.

Have you a photo of him? If he's as safe as you say then I would value him at free to me!!

Jokes aside, about 5k?

Round here (noth yorks) If truly bombproof, and not just institutionalised by a riding school... about 3 k, maybe more is demand is high in your area and he is problem free in all departments.

Hiya, he sounds lovely! The price will also depend on where you are selling him, up north and in Scotland horses tend to sell for less than down south - no idea why but there seems to be quite a difference in price for the same horse! Also, the better your trial facilities and the more people are able to see him do the more you should get for him - good luck!

He is literally bomb proof.. and the riding school havent ruined him, i have been keeping a very close eye on that because i was very conscious that they may do that, but they havent! he has been hacked out very regulary and schooled loads! And he loves his mummy! I dont think i have any pics on my pc at the mo, but ill upload some!

Im in Northampton, what does that do for the price, got to be a good thing because im smack bang in the middle of the country??
hehe

sounds like a sweet chap, however he would have to be certifiable bombproof to fetch £5k

which no horse is,bombproof is not a term i would ever use when trying to sell a neddy

!!I would personally only look to pay £2.5k for a horse like this...however a picture would definately be the deciding factor as to wether he would be worth anymore(i.e,showing, how far his abilities could take him???)

Around here you could easily get £3k for him - probably more. The only thing that might put people off is that he's used in a RS - will he remain as quiet when he's only being worked once a day rather than a number of times a day?

As above, I wouldnt look to spend more than about £2.5k on a horse like that, but some people would pay more.........!!

hi, i have managed to put a pic nxt to my name!
its not the best pic, but i dnt have many on this pc cus its new, ill have to scan some on today, if i can work out the new printer lol..

I'm in northants too. Round here I'd advertise him at about 4k, more if he has a proven record xc etc.

I'm in Northants too and i agree with the above. with out tack.

My spec for Bombproof/Spookproof are rather high and he would have to be able to be ridden by himself straight through Central London in the heaviest of weekday traffic (including standing at red traffic lights) with an artic behind him.

Given that he can do that he would be worth about £4-5K to me.
