Hi, Im Debs from Kent. I have four horses and keep them at a local DIY yard.
I have a 19yr old PB Arab chestnut mare who has COPD and is retired, a grey ID x Cob, 12yrs, given to me last July as his owner could no longer keep him. A beautiful black TB x WB 2yr old filly and my lovely 15hh bay cob mare, Blaze, who is 10yrs old. They cost me all my wages and my time

and I love them all!
Also have Hubby (who cooks and irons, thank God, cos I never get the time) three teenagers, three dogs and a cat in one small terraced house! People wonder why I spend my life at the yard - cos it's the only place I get any peace!!
Looking forward to getting to know you all xx

hi deb. welcome to the forum it is crazy!!!!!

Hi Im a newbie too!! I have 3 horses, a 10yr old tb gleding ex racehorse that my 16yr daughter competes (dressage) on and is doing really well unaffilated, has won loads locally, I ride a 8yr old tb, again an ex race horse that my daughter is going to start competing on this year and a 8yr old 11h pony that my 4 yr old nephew has just started to learn to ride on! And yes I have a hubby who does everything at home while i spend all my time and yes all my wages on the horses! Isnt it amazing how we all have such similiar lives when owning horses! LOL Nice to meet you xx

Thanks for the welcome. Think if hubby was looking for pastures new it would probably be a non-horsy person he'd look for! Maybe I could loan him out for a small fee? Then I could have another horse!! Does no-one want the teenagers?

Hello and welcome both of you! Be warned this forum is more addictive than cigarettes! Look forward to seeing photos of your quadrupeds!

BTW talking of photos - horseyscot, I love your black horse with the white legs. I always think he/she is very smart whenever you post and I see the photo. How is he bred?

Welcome! I'm new here too and another busy mum of three with a very tolerant (most of the time, he does have a moan here and there!) hubby who also seeks sanctuary at the yard! LOL! But like I tell hubby, the horses were around way before him, hehehee!
