Hi, he has only been broken to ride for 9 months, but we have done our first dressage test, and he is coming on well, just very cheeky! Hopefully here is a pic,
You have found HHO, a great way to procrastinate...
Did you break your horse or send him away? He must be quite large? What are your intentions for him? Sounds like good fun.
I am currently trying out a Dutch warmblood who has done a bit of everything, but his speciality is dressage. He's gorgeous and has the mannerisms of a large pony!
Me and my instructor got him lightly backed then I sent him away as we didnt really have the time or facilities and I wanted it done right. Hes 16.1hh, but is naughty pony in disguise!!
Err, to be honest i'm awful at things like this. However, i want to put some pics of the new horse i went to tryat the weekend, so i shall ask the OH tonight, take note and let you know!!
He sounds lovely, i'm sure some horses are naughty ponies in disguise! It must be time consuming having a youngster, esp if you work.
Cheers! He's just for share-it's all i can do for now as work really long hours in London and am doing a Masters at the same time!! He's 16.3hh but full up and is much bigger than the dainty arab i had for years but he's lovely to ride and if you push the right buttons with him he really moves well.
I'll probably go ahead with it, just trying him out again sunday. I'm taking him out for a ride and apparently he can shift...can't wait! Am such a child!!
