Hi everyone,

I hope I am putting this in the right place. I haven't really found any post like this so I hope i'm not doing something ... out of the norm lol. I am new - just joined

so I thought I should introduce myself (?!). I'm from Australia and reguarly compete in dressage, eventing and showjumping. I'm a uni student studying biomedical science. Both my parents are from the UK and i've been quite a few times. I rode in the BSPS International teams challenge for Aus a couple of years back and LOVED every minute - trust me - i'm planning on coming back some time! Are most of you from the UK?

Anyway, i'm looking forward to reading the forums and maybe even posting once in a while!

Welcome to the forum, we are mostly Brits on here with a few ex-pats, all nationalititys are more than welcome though. Be warned, this forum is very addictive!!!

Have you got any pictures of your horse/s??

I loved the UK for its depth - there are SO MANY types of horses and riders and the quality of the horses was something to oggle at. I think the horses over here have improved immensly in the last 5 or so years with AI and a huge surge in WBx breeding but I still love the heavier type horses over in the UK.

I own a WBx 17hh mare and an OTTTB - he's a bit of a nutter lol. I noticed one of you (sorry - can't figure out how to go back and see who it is) has Jump4Joy jumps in your sig - they seem pretty popular. I have a set and they're rather a novely over here lol.

Ok, i'll stop yabbering - here is the requested piccy (I gather they're a must for every post

). It was taken last week - i'm enjoying riding in a new jumping saddle (VEGA monoflap made by amerigo - it's heaven!). Let me know it it's too big and i'll re-size.

The size is fine for me, but then again I have got a 19" screen!!

Horses are very popular over here, you will find every size, shape and breed on here too!
