Because then he gets one on one time with his humans, though Charlie now ruining this for him oops.

Very Very bad parents arn't we lol.

He's really good, he's lost 5kg in a month but he is building musle. His breathing when out has returned or very close to it, back to normal so we arn't getting that gasping sound instead of panting. His nails are down lol.

He's even started picking up sticks when out and trying to chase the younger dogs. There has been a few arguments as he was extreamlly well trained and now has selective hearing. Only raided the bin once and came out with carbord such a wasted attempt me thinks.

He looks bright eyed, mum and dad came up and he followed her every where so she thought he was unhappy and should go home. My dad explain the dog saw her as a walking treat machine and i tried to explain at least he makes an effort to get up and follow not just open his month and expect food to arrived.

We have my OH sis up with her young Rotty so he'll need to go home for the weekend as i don't think he'll cope. But the neibours paniced at that thought and offered to put him in there pack instead, poor poop old man.

Aw, bless him, good to hear he is coming on.

I have a very similar Mum, she thinks she is showing the animals love by feeding them and that they will love her in return, doesn't really work like that!!!
My boy was neutered last week and I am going to have to watch her like a hawk to make sure she isn't slipping him an extra scoop here and there.

Thats how Charlie problems started, vet said half his feed, she said but he looks so sad. Yes that coz he's missing important parts, so she doubled his normal dinner aswell as sweetys. Please don't get me wrong he was a family pet they have had him since i was nine, it just me and sis grow up and moved out and left charlie at home. And he was mine and sis dog so walks and all his food use to be our responsibility, and yes i was the typical kid who forgot to put down fresh water and forgot to feed him and it was my mum who kicked my up the ***. Just a pitty she wouldn't sometimes forget herself

:-)
