I am looking for a dressage saddle, and someone suggested a Hi Lite might be a good starting place!

Does anyone have one?
Any opinions on them - good or bad!?!
If it has a wide gullet how do you change it to medium? Do you buy a new gullet like the wintecs?

Thanks

Not a fan I'm afraid. Probably one of the lowest quality synthetic saddles I have come across (unless their recent stuff is better)

No they self adjust as u girth up.

i quite liked mine. we comfy. yet on routine visit from back lady showed many sore pressure points cause by saddle.

I got a 2nd hand gymkhana one for daughters pony cos 14" saddles in wide are like hens teeth. Not impressed. Cheap & nasty, gave daughter an awful seat the one & only time she sat in it. Now in felt pad till saddler (or I) find a decent second hand one. Would only recommend one as a cheap starter saddle for a horse that's going to change shape. Remind me of the first synthetic saddles that came out years ago.

We used to have one for a shetland pony years ago. It was horrible. It was all fabric, bobbled badly and looked really cheap.

Dunno if the newer ones are any better.
