Hi all, I have just bought a horse and a pony after a break of over 40 years, can't wait to get back into it but soooooo much has changed, I've studied the forum and this seems like a real friendly place for some (much needed) advice.
Hope to get involved soon... be gentle with me please!
 
Wow, you really are a friendly lot. Thanks for the welcomes. Deep end is about right, started off looking for one, love at first sight then found out that he can't be alone! hence the lit'lun. We got a small-holding and then decided that it was sacrilage to have empty fields.
No pics yet as they are not coming home until tomorrow (can't wait) but will get some up as soon as I can get hubby to take some and figure out how to post them!?

Question 1 (of many? lol) : anyone know of reasonable priced horse transport in Cornwall (must be lorry as big guy won't go in a trailer)

You really will love it on here. I know I do. So much help information, advice and laughs along the way. You get to really know some of the people along the way and I have made some wonderful personal friends on here over the last year. But I have yet to meet them in RL. Enjoy and looking forward to seeing the pictures. Get the camera ready when they arrive tomorrow. We can all help you putting them on for us all to see. If I can do it anyone can!!!!!

I have met people off the forum and have made new friends and had a lot of advice with my youngster which you cannot get from books.

Unfortunately it is also addictive.
