i bought my first horse after many years of loaning horses in february. He is a colt who will be a year old next month. I also ride one of the safest cob i have ever met

OK now for the opinion/adivce bit

My colt has got quiet a big belly and i'm slgihtly worried if this could cause something serious in the future

And within the last month (he is out on grass all the time now and i know this can make them get a bit of a belly!)

he's just grass at the moment but i'm wondering whether i should be giving him anything extra?

Obviously he is properly wormed???

If so perhaps he is just doing a bit too well on the grass... he doesnt look huge though.....

Bless his pink willy..... do you have to sunblock it!!!

Has he been wormed recently?
Most yearlings get a big belly. They usually lose it when they grow a bit.

He was wormed 1 month ago but he only jsut started being wormed when I got him

He looks ok to me, much better than he did...in terms of condition.
Just check you've wormed him for small redworm, tapeworm and bots....just in case the previous owners didn't (not all together though
