I'll try to remember to answer everything you have asked in this post...sorry I didn't include all the details previously!
Yes the lady moving to Canada was Tia...does anyone hear from her?
My gelding is 90% blind total....the little sight he has is in his near-side eye and its fading fast.
He is coping brilliantly. I am lucky that I keep my horses at home, so his stable is always his and his paddock is always his.
He and Grace (My Hanno whose "posh" name is actually Seville...I admit I changed it although she is G line) graze seperately anyway as they are not too good together...two minutes grooming over the fence is enough for them before they put the boot in to each other!
As he is on his own it means he also doesn't have to try to dodge other flying feet. He knows every inch of his own 3 acres, and follows the fence line to negotiate. He comes in every night and is rugged and fussed over and turned out every day.
If he ever parks himself in the corner and doesn't move I'll reconsider....
Its so nice of you to give me such a nice welcome back and to be remembered. I may have to ask for help later as I do not know how to post pictures and I also have to think about how to negotiate round the place...its changed a bit!!! So if I get lost and do something really silly like post in the wrong place please try to be patient!
I think last time I came on here was just after I had a terrible argument with two gipsies about a pony they beat till it fell in the road then they beat it to get up....anyone remember that?
The footnote was I reported it to the police the same morning as they threatened to kill me and threatened to punch an elderly man who came to back me up....well......9 weeks later the police called on me at home to make a statement. Can you beleive that???..they then went to the place the gipsies were camped and asked about the incident...surprise surprise the gipsies knew nothing about it........anyway, that was about the last time I came on here as work pressure and horses and life in general just kind of took over my days. I have decided to make more time for just having fun!
