Have looked online in vain for a 3/4 (or at a push full length) hi-vis riding coat for winter.

I want something waterproof that will cover the top half of my legs like a traditional riding mac, but those only seem to come in darker 'country' colours.

By the time I've got one of those on over a fleece, body protector and hi-vis tabbard, I'll feel like an overstuffed sofa!

Starting to think they don't exist - anyone had better luck?

iI bought some Dickies workwear socks recently they are really good quality and very warm. Only thing with non horsey coats is to make sure they have a 2 way zip so you can ride in them.

Arco also sells hi vis jackets - http://www.arco.co.uk/textsearch/High-Visibility Clothing/?pcatid=-8711

I've been looking at getting something like a soft shell wind resistant one, don't necessarily need waterproof as i'll happily admit to being a fair weather rider ;) I've been looking at cycling jackets (Altura has a nice range) as they are cut lower at the back to cover your bum. Also the size I tried on at Snow and Rock would have been big enough to fit a body protector underneath too.

I've just bought a Joy-riderz hi-viz long jacket which is similar to a Mountainhorse Bodyguard but much more visible. it has a summer-weight jacket which zips out too.
