I know it was a bright sunny day today, however yet again I passed THREE bay horses out on the roads with riders in dark clothes and not a scrap of Hi-Viz between them. Two were out together one was on her own. It is beyond me why they do this. I nearly recomended our local tack shop which has a good selection.

I don't get people would want to chance not wearing hi-viz on the roads

If I'm walking along the road with somebody and a rider without reflectives goes past i talk loudly about hi viz and the such.
Saw one person with none and i talked loudly about it, next time i saw them they had some on.

I always wear it even if its really bright and sunny..do feel silly putting it on when no one else does but Id rather be seen and laughed at than not seen and injured..id never forgive myself if my mare was hurt. Hardly ever see anyone around here wearing it tho...so annoying

I'm fighting a losing battle round here

although I have noticed the dog-walkers have started wearing it

. 7.45 this morning, it was misty, very icey everywhere and sure enough, some one rides past with no hi-viz and heading for a slippery lane

I must admit I do feel safer with my Hi Viz jacket on, Pete wears hi viz neckband and leg bands. My friend also wears Hi Viz out and so does her horse. One three year old little lad I saw the other thought I was a policeman with all my clobber on, made my day

You could always be generous folks - XL adult quality high vis vests - price ----- £1, yep a quid!!

Available in ASDA nationwide now.

Why not get a couple each and donate em to these peeps....
for a quid you could save a life!!! And certainly help towards the safety of our equine partners!!

I have a long hi-viz riding jacket and hi-viz quarter sheet for George and I have twice been stopped for directions and when i couldn't help the people commented that they thought I was a policewoman!! Probably helps that George is a strapping lad!
