Hi viz hat cover

Bought a spartan high viz hat cover which states it fits all hats, went riding with friends on Saturday the hat cover moved.went riding Sunday the cover came off luckily my friend was behind and picked it up for me.didnt put the cover back on do you know of high viz cover that stays put ?
 
No idea about alternatives, but could you put a band round the hat to keep it in place? A big elastic band which grips on should work.
Or a bit of velcro on the front and back of your hat?
I know some people attach a loop of material/thread to the silk and then tread it on the strap at the back of the hat, so at least if it falls off, you don't lose it.
 
I'm still wearing my polite hat band - I usually wear pink Hi-vis on my top half and a plain yellow mesh exercise sheet on him if it's cold, so fairly obvious I'm not trying to impersonate anyone.

I wouldn't wear the polite jacket though if I had one, but I don't think it's my imagination that the hat band gets more effect than if I wear my plain pink one.

I have a Lycra Hi viz yellow hat silk. Problem is I cant remember where I got it form or who made it! Sorry!

I bought my friend a pink one off Ebay for Christmas, arrived quickly :)

Heres my Son sporting the pink one when he had a ride on my friends pony

what sort of hat do you have?

I had a spartan one for ages (newer one was an ebay one) but do have a strip of the 'hook' side of velcro attached to the front of my HS1 as lots slip off them otherwise.

I have a Dublin onyx jockey skull it's only 5.5 in size
