Hi-Viz/Horse Safety Slogans

What are your favourites???!!!

There are so many out there that I have seen on Hi-Viz and car stickers.

I think "Hit your brakes, not my horse" is good, and my mumbrought me a tabard that says "Lady rider with PMT" on it!!!!

(Don't know what she's trying to say!!!!!!)
 
People tell me you need to be careful that you dont accept liability - i.e. slogans like "spooky horse" "young horse" "nervous rider" may put you in the poo when it comes to insurance if something were to happen. xx

That is a popular roumer, but do check with your individual insurance companies, as ours told us that was an out of date roumer and that it was in no way admitting liability as far as they were concerned.
 
Don't think I've ever seen it, but have heard of L plate versions to indicate that the horse or rider is a learner and to take extra caution - that sounds like a good idea.

I just have a plain one, on the basis that the last slogan one I had was too wordy, and I reckoned that drivers either didn't read it, or wound have taken longer reading it when I really wanted them to be spending that time slowing down.

Difficult to know what to do for the best, isn't it.

I had a half a dozen vests printed a couple of years ago with "Horses don't dent they DIE" on the back which I gave away as Christmas presents. I wear mine almost every ride (unless I have my hi-viz jacket on).

Personally I think the 'slogan' type of hi-viz can cause drivers to be more annoyed with horses and riders ( not the 'Horses don't dent they die' ones) but the cheekier ones if you know what I mean.
 
Frankly, as long as they actually SEE ME, I really don't care what mood they are in.

Round our way, they always seem to be in a miserable mood and tearing hurry regardless.
 
I like the polite notice, caution horse and rider, please pass slowly etc but imo the ones that say "does my bum look big in this" etc draw attention away and I know some people (non horsey) would get annoyed by this and adds to the whole "horse riders are arrogant" argument.

Having said that it's better to have a silly slogan than no hi viz whatsoever.
 
I use a 'caution horse and rider' tabard but I am planning on buying one of the Polite Notice ones! I do actually agree about the points made above about the comical ones personally
