Hi viz, Longhorsely

I'm the same, I got bright orange hi viz last year and anyone who rides my horses has to wear it, just as the horses are not allowed out without their hi viz, just in case they part company with their riders. Just out of curiousity, would you feel patronised if someone complimented you on using hi viz, I'm often tempted to say well done for using it

Agree, not much better in heddon partic the 2 girls that came back up the road in the dark with no hi viz, dressed in dark colours on dark horses....

My friend has 2 bays so when we go out they always have hi-viz so they can be seen. I would love to ride her TB out with an exercise sheet but I think it would upset him too much

It worries me, especially after i passed my very dark bay on the road at dusk one day, his rider had hi viz on, he didn't, he very quickly blended into the road/moorside, it struck me later that I should have stayed behind them and used my headlights to highlight them

I like these on my horses legs like the police horses
