they dont claim to be high withered :( but so many pretty colour choices :D, and since they have a page with detailed sizing thought it might be worth a look to compare to your current numnahs? :)

Ahh, now I really want a blue saddlecloth for day to day use, so I can save my competition coloured ones...

Do these wash well? does anyone happen to know?

John whitaker do a nice burgandy and grey one and cottage craft do pink, blue, purple and possibly some others but they are half pads so not sure if you want them.

and how do these fit - do they slip or pretty much stay there - my horse prefers sheepskin (when i ever got to ride her again!!!) and i have SO many nice coloured saddlecloths but only one with sheepskin and I would love to have sheepskin next to her back (as she is a KS horse) and be able to use my nice saddlecloths

ETA - now read entire thread and someones explained it!!!! lol

Although not spine free whats the chances of 'clipping' the spine fur off!!!!???????

Guess you could shave a strip down the centre, not tried that on mine. They stay in place really well, mine has never slipped at all.

Cottage Craft do some cloths with half dead sheep underneath. I had a couple in a nice tan colour, always washed well and fitted nicely, think they were around the £40 mark

You could also look at 0ldmare's site, she's obviously too modest (or frightened of tfc) to mention it. Morpheus Designs I think it is, looked lovely stuff at YHL.

Kat glad you liked them :) I generally steer clear of numnah threads unless its a question on how to wash a dead sheep numnah or something non-controversial like that (even then I'm usually told I'm doing it wrong... :D )

Another vote for the Mattes ones...the Spooky Pony's blue one with pockets on is from them, and is gorgeous. He has a black numnah from Nuumed for everyday, but the fleece on it is not quite as nice, and the fit isn't quite as good. It's still very nice, just not as nice.

Thankies SP :D

Pockets...?

See below! It's their "endurance" cut, and I wanted the pockets to put his boots in if he gets rid of them. They turn out to be big enough to hold his boots, a small bottle of water, some snack food, and emergency kit stuff. I personalise the colours, too. Obviously, he still needs a blue Zilco bridle to complete the endurance matchy-matchy look! :D
