Hi im new! im 43 (yes, that old!) and i live in the midlands with my two daughters and my hubby.
We live with 4 neddys, Bramble a shire x dutch whos 9, Jimmy an appaloosa x who is 24, Teddy my daughters cob whos 10 and a nutcase, and Misty who is 18 and a welsh b. Weve also got 3 dogs and 5 cats, not forgetting the hamster and the fish or the gerbils!

Well Bramble is my hubbys horse really but he cant ride anymore so she is looking for a rider. Jimmy is babysitting my youngest daughter who we thought would give up after she grew out of her shetland (whos out on loan) but Jimmy been the perfect confidence giver, and she loves riding him, long hacks are her favorit thing.
My eldest has Teddy who is a bay welsh cob although we have no idea of his breeding. We bought him in not brilliant condition as a bombproof confidence giver, well he was, until he was in better condition, now he is a nutcase, although she forgives him most of the time because he jumps like a stag!
Misty is on loan to us and has been for 9yrs, he has a little rider now my two have outgrown him because we just cant send him back, he is part of the family.
Three dogs are Taran (supposed to be welsh) who is an 11 year old border collie, Sally is a 10yr old short haired medium size dog of unknown breeding, and Rascal is one in July he is a short hair border collie, and very sweet.
I can ride but i dont anymore, i cant find anything i really trust, bit of a wimp! I love in hand showing though and will eventually get myself a baby to play with.
 
Hi, we have two appy's one at 30 odd and retired and a shirexclydesdale and a black and white cob, so glad there's another appy, we should start a clique

shire x clydesdale now that sounds nice! Our shire x dutch is 16hands but about 16 hands wide as well even when she isnt fat!
I have always had a soft spot for appys and coloureds, you never saw an appy when we got our boy 22yrs ago.

Blimey, you have a household full! I thought I was bad with a horse, 3 cats a dog an OH and now we have bought a fish tank!
 
Hi and welcome, 43s not old - wellI hope not cos I'm a lot more. Welcome to the forum. Should warn you its totally addictive. Came on here last November to try and do some research on breathing problems with my daughters horse and can't keep off now. Have similar animal madhouse, 1 horse, 2 ponies, 1 donkey and 3 GSDs. Sadly lost our cat and very old Lancashire Heeler last year. I'm a total technophobe so have no idea how to put on pics. Sure you will love the forum.

ooh fish tanks carefull theyre addictive!!
me and my boyf have little fish that are now HUGE and need bigger tank and we cant stop buying fish!!
