Hi all. I'm new to this chat so please bear with me.
My girl was diagnosed last year with Cushings and put on Prascend(April last year) , but is really struggling. I have a depressed girl who has lost a lot of weight. We used to call her the labrador as she ate her food like it was her last meal, but now isn't really that interested and will take half a day to eat it. I was wondering if anyone has decided to take their horse off the meds? I'll be chatting to my vet, but wanted some thoughts on this. Thanks

I had a similar issue with one of my Shetlands the drug totally changed him to a zombie like state. So I decided quality of life was more important and took him off it. I replaced it with a supplement called C7 from Trinity Consultants and he returned to his normal cheeky self and cleans up every feed. He is sound and enjoying life. Can’t say wether this would work for everyone but all I want is a happy pony.
