I’m new to the forum, so I hope I won’t be too irritating haha I have a 10 year old Friesian that I bought 3 months ago. I’ve been riding for 24 years and he’s my first actual “I own him” horse!
He’s highly trained in dressage and worked as a private school horse for a while so he’s a good lad but I’ve been running into some problems with him during the adjustment period so I’m sure I’ll be here a bit to find out how to be a better equestrian for the both of us!

Welcome. I lost my Freisian mare very recently. I’m not sure I’d have another, they don’t seem to have read the books about common equine illnesses. Even my vet said they get things no other horse does and are odd ?. Hopefully yours is more straightforward.
