ITS VERY MUDDY!

I worked there wednesday/thursday, nice on wednesday but ground is getting gradually worse. In the eventers challenge today it was pouring down but it still went on regardless. So if you have a 4x4 take it as it is seriously muddy particulary in the car park bit. Also beware they are using the new warm up ring next to the outer rings for events as well now

Anyway did anyone else go today?

PS if you go to the horsemart stand early they give out big bags of treats and the magazine for £1 ite behind the big indoor stands. (I am not there tommorow)

Car park is the bit I'm worried about

Thanks Jess - going to be a nightmare come sunday, unless they move the car park every day, which I think they did for the Derby meeting.

Think I'll be taking some cardboard with us, so we can park on it!

Saw two people having to be towed, they were in VERY small cars like Nissan Micra kind of size. They barely used the main ring in wednday which was a bit disspointing they were saving the ground

I didnt find the car park or shopping areas at all muddy today

i was going to go but i'm going to spend the money on hayledge supplies instead, TBH there is not alot that i really want/need this time around, such a shame as i like to see the M&M workers but i don't really want to sit in strong winds and or rain!!
i might go to edenbridge and oxted instead if weather ever improves!! i went to the derby and got all my rugs etc half price, so no need for anymore bargain hunting.......

I was there yesterday (friday) and i have to say the ground was bone dry ! The carparks were fine, and the rings all in excellent condition. The wind blew hard most of friday and the sun shone for a lot of it, so i think the ground will hold out now for the rest of the weekend

It's amazing how many of us were there yesterday . . . probably all walked past each other and never knew!! We need HHO badges or something . . . .
