So i got up at 5:30 this morning !!! To go and jump the highest course yet
Traveling ... bla bla ... Arival!!!
So one of my team members had organised a newspaper to come and photograph us because we were the only state school competing :O ... great!
Okay so when we walked the course i was like this aint sooo bad but the double were way to long as she has a short stride..but not long enough to put in two (other people had tried and failed!!)
In the warm up she was behaving like a star!! Jumping perfectly, i was managing to see the 3 strides in (always helps!!)
Abbie was first in the ring, but unfortunatly skidded into fence 2 (bad ground) so lost her nerve a bit and had a few down and a run out at the planks. Molly was next (with Rock On Jimmy JA superstar!! :O ) she only had one down so was pleasied with that
Next it was my turn, i felt so sick!! but we hit the first two jumps perfectly but the dreaded double was next (one stride ) but we got up close to the first part!! so had it down kicked on to the second part and had that down too, totaly my fault as i should have held her up more - live and learn!! the planks went well, then a red spread (my fear of these is slowly getting better!) to a 5 short stride into a hugee upright, round to a mausive spread!! Then a small planks, another spread ..........
Then i sat there like a lemon and ran out of the first part of a two stride double humph!! so my fault !! but hey i was close to vommitting by that point!! next time round we cleared the first and second part

SORRY IF THE LINKS DON'T WORK ..
But after i had put blue back and washed her down i saw MR SMARTIE!! wont mean a lot to you guys but i haven't seen him in 11 months, i just stopped and cried !! i miss him so much, he was my soul mate i rode him for two years every day nearly, and looked after him, he was a huge part of my life (owner at boarding school...sold last sept an what makes it worse is that the owner was so snotty (but i did say hello and gave him a stroke ) i am determined to save up and buy him in a few years (£18000) JA pony, i wouldn't care if he never jumped a pole i just want him to come home !!
But i did manage to sniffle through and watch him go clear - so proud of him!!
So it was a bit of an emotional day for me ... and am jumping again at Hickstead next Saturday PonyClub Intermediate Teams
