such a shame for Tim but knowing the mare she was always going to find that ground hard. Love watching her though and can just remember competing against her as a youngster and saying she had that something special and so she proved it

hickstead was great, but wet, spent loads but good fun. enjoying watching it now.......just getting the inlaws into horses, dad inlaw rode mine again today, 3rd time, its great,bless...enjoying the hickstead whilst gobbling choc cake!

I must admit to having been a little disappointed at the commentators saying 'well ridden' all the time. Yes, of course they were well ridden, but some of those horses really pulled out all the stops to get out of trouble

In fairness to the horse John did miss him a little at that fence
I've seen the horse eliminated in that ring with Ben Maher before though...didn't want to know last year at a brush filled oxer going into a double!
