We had started cutting her food down anyway as she isnt going out as much as she does in the summer, and she is losing weight but its just shameful when someone else tells you

My lab is very overweight too

She get fed one feed a day, and gets no tit bits and plenty exercise. Our problem is she has free run of our farm, and therefore helps herself to all the delicacies this has to offer

Labs are sooo greedy, both our collie and spaniel are fine weight wise

My dog is a bit overweight too. He's a labrador and despite feeding him the "lite" version of his food, keeping treats to a minimum and him spending hours a day at the yard with me, he still manages to be starving hungry all the time and podgy to boot

Oh good its not just mine then

Dont get me wrong shes not struggling to walk, waddling round kind of fat, but 2-3 kg to lose when shes suppose to be 10/11 is a fifth/quarter of her bodyweight....porker

Mine's overweight a little too, she gets fed once a day and very rarely tidbits.

Although, she doesn't get as much excersise as she should, I'm unable to walk for longer than 5-10 minutes and my sister just isn't a dog person.

My mum has a dodgy knee and my Dad works long hours.

I do try and excersise her when I can though but it's obviously not enough.
