Hifi lite - a question re smell

We've got the new boy on it and I previously used it for my mare but it smells gorgeous now!! Just can't work out what the smell is and it's driving me nuts -any ideas?

Glad it's not just our bag then! Will go and ask on the dengie stand tomorrow at YHL - it smells so nice I'm tempted to have a munch myself

Share fella's just started on a new bag and it smells like a bag of sweets. I'm not sure horse feed should smell like that :S Would like to know what they've done to it?

I thought it was quite strong aswell, i feed the horses in the stable and could smell it from the door.

I had one once that smelt like fish! I now feed Alfa-A Lite which has mint added and is lovely

I've fed hifi lite for years and never noticed a difference I do have a really poor sense of smell though

I use this too, my horse loves it

Had a email back from dengie explaining that it is a vanilla coating, doesn't affect sugar levels at all. It's always had it but got stronger as using a different supplier xx

I love the smell of Hifi Lite, a bag lassts me ages with my girls, but the last scoop always smells as fresh and lovely as the 1st, it'll be interesting to smell the next bag!! x
