hi, i know there are both low sugar & starch if a pony is happy & healthy on hifi lite is there any advantage in changing him to topchop lite? thanks

As I understand Dengie have brought out a new molasses free Hi Fi, which would be exactly the same as the Topspec chaff; only the Dengie bags are 20kg instead of 15kg. In which case I'd work out the cheapest and feed that!
The Dengie 'ordinary' Hi Fi Lite has low sugar molasses and preservatives added which some people don't like to feed.

ok thanks, one of my ponies left the topchop liteyesterday - never leaves the hifi !!!!!

The Top Chop doesn't have any mould inhibitors either. If your pony is used to eating Hi Fi, then the Top Chop will be like offering someone coffee without sugar when they are used to having a spoonful. Takes a bit of getting used to, but they do.

thanks - any known side effects of mould inhibitors - only asking as one if our ponies cant tolerate hifi lite !
