High calorie feed

Hi Doglet peeps

Cutting a long story short, my Setter has had a few rough year, meningitis, bloat, serious tummy bug. Anyway, she's all well and Setterish but is a skinny ribs! I like slim dogs but she's taking the Micky! So can you recommend me a good feed to help get weight on, without being too rich. She currently on Wainrights, which I like. She's very happy in herself and eats well, but if I feed more in volume, shell leave it. Sorry 'raw' peeps, that's a no go, tummy can't handle.

Tripe, anything with fish, tinned fish, fish oil, Fish 4 Dogs, puppy food.

No worries Would the frozen blocks of washed tripe from Prize Choice be too much? It comes under the raw bracket but it is a good conditioner. Is it your tummy or hers

Dog or you can't handle? Cos beef mince is great for weight gain. If it's the dog who has a dodgy tum, try a tiny bit then increase gradually.

I use pets at home's fishmongers its 10kg and costs 29.99 it lasts my two a fortnight. Although they weight somewhere between 35-40kg each! They also get tripe in their kongs twice a day

Ha if you saw what cleaned up the floor the other day, you wouldn't ask I've not tried tripe and didn't think off puppy food. TBH I'm more paranoid coz she had bloat than anything else, she always had a pretty tough tum, then bang, emergency run to the vet with next to no hope of survival.
Ps she s currently sitting on me while writing this, she says hi

Less likely to bloat on raw/wet than dry, not a failsafe but a better option.
