a cupple of days ago i write a post about the abuse we recieve round ere' for being travellers. It was nice to gt alot of nice feedback on ere' from people n today when i took Maverick out round the vilage we had people stoppin askin to stroke im' and sayin how well cared his is. Some gals even tuk photos of his famus Tash.

Wel tht put me in a great mood but on the way back we passed a some snotty cow across the road who laffed at Mav and whispered sumthin to her mate who laffed aswell. The annoyin thing is she keeps her young horse stabled all week n he only gets let out on saturdays usualy. A gal' i no speaks to her and says she complains he is to much 4 her, n to exctiable to ride.

I'd raver my boy luk a scruff bag in winter thn locked up lukin pretty

Mine have a total mud crust at the minute....

They're gonna look scruffy in winter....only way you can keep them clean is to keep them in and personally I like mine to be out as much as possible...

Come spring, they'll be clean and lovely again:)

Says it all really, typical jealous stuckup, over horsed busybody! Doesn't matter who you are or what you do everyone gets judged at some point, especially on livery yards! A dignified silence and knowing smile usually sufficies I find.

Oh I did manage to read your epic thread the other night and saw how well looked after your horses are, photos speak for themselves!

Dunt help he trotted past winnying and prancin about' sur he thinks he is a arab :)

Thanks i just waved at em' waitin for the next rumour now about me abusin' my poor cob. Village news

Hi Riley boy, I saw your last post and the pictures of your lovely horses.

Don't worry about snobby cows like that. Unfortunately it seems the horse world is full of them and they pee me off big time.

I have a very traditional cob, who we all love. But since I got him i have had horse snobs call him "just a hairy cob", that "gypsy horse", etc. I even had one "friend" refuse to ride out with me in case her friends saw us together. I wouldn't want to ride with her anyway as her highly strung TB spends more time going backwards in fright at something than going forward. My cob just snorts at her and keeps going. Nothing fazes him (apart from old ladies on mobility scooters..haha).

Just continue to look after your horses as well as you so obviously do. I'm sure they have a much better life than those precious TB's who never get to put a hoof outside in case it gets muddy!

I think no matter how well cared for your horse is, or how good your horse is, there will always be some snotty cow who thinks hers is better. I don't even think it's to do with you being a traveller.. it's all over the horse world.

wel exactly " just a hairy cob" who is more safe n sane than that tb.. Ano wat i wld rather b sittin' on. Ours r very good with everythin, Mav spooks at tires thats abwt it. Nt on cars just at side of road.

I hate keepin horses in all the time its nt fair, they dnt get to b horses then
