Just wondering if anyone uses these plug in high pitched deterrents and whether they are any good? Thinking of getting one for the tack room to keep the mice away.

Would it bother the horses? I could always switch it off when the horses are in, how powerful are they?

Thank you :)

I've got them in the house. I was sceptical at first but they really do work! I don't know how effective they would be in a larger structure though. Plus I don't have my horses in the house so I don't know how they would react - but cats and dogs aren't bothered.

i have a cat one in my stable - bl@@dy cats kept going to toilet in there overnight whilst the horse was out. That works well - the cats have stopped coming in.

However, someone else brought my horse in the other morning and hadn't realised it was in there (I normally switch it off and put it away before I go and get him). I couldn't work out why he was so jumpy and twitchy that morning until I remembered that the thingy was in there with him for about 15 minutes before I turned up and removed it.

He could obviously hear it and didn't like it!

Thanks everyone! It's only for the tack room, which isn't really that big, so it's worth a shot!

I opened a drawer today and a mouse jumped out and sat on the edge of the drawer looking at me, I screamed so loud the owner came running down in a panic haha they creep me right out, they're so fast!
