my rising 2 year old started to lose weight so i changed he's feeds about, wormed him and he still hadn't gained any weight, so i called the vet to do some bloods...
couldn't believe what i was then told :-(
as the vet started listening to his heart i knew something wasn't right as he kept moving around and listing for a long time. The vet then told me that his heartbeat was around 56 beats per min and he was very concerned.
He took bloods and told me to await his phone call, later he called and informed me bloods were fine and to bring him up to the clinic for a 24 hour ecg, so in the trailer and off we went.
The ecg was on for around 6 hours when the vet called me to update me, he said his heart rate is on avg 50-56 bpm but no abnormalities, also he took more bloods and sent them off to check for heart disease and the results will be back after eater.
I'm gutted!! i haven't got a clue whats wrong with him, anyone have any advise on this?
