I have the saddle fitter coming out next thurs and i am planning on getting either a kent and masters or a thorowgood T8 (both adjustable). Do you think he will need a high withered fit or just standard? he is slightly croup high, he's turned 6 so guess he's pretty much how he is but needs muscle building everywhere! It's just that i wanted a jump ideally which isn't sold in high withered? i personally wouldn't say he was but a couple of people have said they think he is so opinions please....

He does, he did hunting but thats it really! not really sure what he's done the last 6 months or so. Ive got a pessoa which he's worked in every other day (not ridding much at the mo as his current saddle doesn't fit him too well) and i just invested in some cavaletti poles yesterday to help him lift up :D excited for my new dressage saddle! :p

see this is what i think, to me he's not high withered as such, i have one high withered and he's much much higher ....

I think he just needs muscle building everywhere so a fully adjustable saddle med wither with a sheepskin pad should be fine and then book the saddle fitter back in a few months to check again. :D

Thanks Palindrome, he's an absolute sweetie...
