Any suggestions for trailer insurance for higher value trailers? I have just bought a 6 month old Night Treka and I am struggling to find insurance that covers trailers valued over £8,000. Any suggestions?

Thanks for that, spoke to them and was quoted £760 - Yikes!!!!

SEIB quoted £550 which still seems a lot but I have always had older lorries before. Heyho, the search continues

I have the same trailer bought 2019. Fully insured with SEIB for just over £500 a year.

I used a broker - best quote I had for a cheval Liberte which was around £250. Trailer was worth £9k. Can’t remember who it was with but think they specialised in caravans etc

Our Bockmann is insured with the NFU alongside the horse's insurance.
I have always used NFU for my lorrys over 30 years but I no longer have a policy with them so they will not insure a trailer on its own, only as an extension to an existing policy. :(
