Im looking at putting my mare in foal next spring. What im wondering is, is who to put her in foal to?
Shes IDxTB and has good breeding, character, temperament etc.
Is there any specific breed/stallion that makes them more saleable (if there is such a word?)
Anybody recommend any specific stallion? Ive looked at TBs and WBs but dont know if having a foal that would be IDxTBxWB would be that saleable? Have also considered putting her to a pure ID or IDSH.
Anybody have any thoughts/knowledge about Baracaberry Orbit http://www.dalehead.org/bowlandirishdraughthorses/barracaberry_orbit.htm or Primitive Star http://www.louellastud.co.uk/primitive_star.php?

depends on which way you want the youngster to go, for a competition horse i'd put her to a nice tb type, makes a really nice horse in my opinion! depends on if you want it to sell or bring on yourself??

where are u based? Who is your mare by/bloodlines, etc.?
Also, has your mare done anything competitively herself that could have an influence on the foal's value?

My mare has competed successfully at unaff Dressage to Novice level, SJ to OPen and XC to Open. Was going to affiliate her but I am currently specifically doing dressage with her at the minute to help me bring the scores up in eventing.
She has D'arcy Dancer in her bloodlines, pride of Shaunlara etc.

Weston Justice is TB, he evented to 4*. His stock are quality, move well and bold in their attitude. Should be very saleable if thats what you decide to do.
