Who was it who posted the other day that her premiums had doubled by her insurers beginning with P?

I've just had my renewal through and my premiums have gone from £17 pm to £33 pm. The only difference is that I've made two large claims in the year - also insuring with P.

I think all ins companies have increased the premiums (I know we have). Unfortunately it is the way of the world isn't it. We have to pay more for everything but don't GET paid more in our jobs!!!

Seems like it. I'm still very happy with P though as they have been very prompt paying up & helpful on the phone.

Im with AIMS in Thirsk, North Yorks and they sent a letter with my renewal (last week) to say they have NOT put up their premiums and they also only have one class of use so you can do anything with your horse and not have to worry whether you are insured or not. I mentioned to them a recent post about Yorkshire insurance places (home of E&L

) and they cannot stress highly enough that they are NOTHING to do with them! My premium is £596 for both my hunting cobs! one 16 yrs - valued at £2000, one 8 yrs at £3000 inc 3rd party and vets fees- they also paid promptly for the 16year olds ringbone treatment.
