Hi,
I did write a long post which I've deleted, but essentially my horse lacks power in one hind limb. He's getting on in years (he's over 20), has recently had the chiropractor out after not being able to get up to eat (loads better after the treatment). He's had a new farrier recently after the old one was not taking anything off and the toes where getting too long. He was better (although not quite right) after the new farrier sorted his feet out. He'll still do an extended trot round the field if he wants to, or canter away when you turn him out.
I'm not sure whether to get the chiro out again or call the vet or whether the long toes have strained his ligaments & he needs more rest, or whether he's just old & needs to retire
.
Some guidance would be most welcome.
