For a while now as I've been schooling I have terrible problems with my body almost being 'twisted,' to face the outside of the school on the right rein. As its come to light I've tried to do more and more to correct it which has made the whole process more painful. It almost feels as if that side is locked? I physically can't put my inside leg on either which is also very odd..
This makes for interesting schooling when a farmer / helpful livery decides to line outside the school with scary farm machinery / flags as I end up towing him to look at the outside of the school and consequently spooking with my dodgy riding etc etc!
SO! Anyway, I'm assuming that as whenever I fall off I hit the deck on my left side that its in either my pelvis or hip area there and am trying to find a good chiropracter to have a bit of a tweak.
In the mean time - to try to help my poor horse from having to compensate for me , does anyone know of any exercises I could do either at home or before I get on to try to open up that area? Many thanks!
