I am currently in the possession of one 17.2 Shire cross hippity hoppity horse. Joking aside, I think I have too much time on my own and I am getting concerned. I was at my parents' on Saturday (typical) and my friend had to call the vet as offside rear was sore. The vet couldn't find anything and gave her lots of Danilon sachets and an injection. She was sound as a pound on Tuesday night so gave the Danilon a miss. This morning, limpy lou. Gave her another Danilon and this evening, still limping but came to me and is not so bad once she gets going, but she is not good going backwards. I think I'm posting this for reassurance as much as advice, I will be honest. What could this be? She has got a cut on her other leg - I wonder if she's fallen hard when razzing in the field or something and cut herself getting up. Could it be her back? It's crossed my mind to get a "back person" in once she's better but I'm sceptical. What do you all think? Sorry for boring you all but thank you for listening! xx
