There is a lot going on re the pony jet one. They stole an image from the Hippo adverts and put their logo on it. If you look at the Hippo FB page there are details. The current advert for the Pony jet one also seems to be a stolen image, as they don't have any stock yet.

If you look at the pony jet FB ads you will see a lot of angry faces. This is due to the above, but any comments are deleted.

Yes I don’t think Ponyjet is as clean cut as they’re made out to be.

Keen on the Hippo one as youngster’s decided cold water hose is awful. I truly believe it’ll be a different ball game if it’s warm water. Oldie also not a fan of cold/tepid water but will put up with it, but would be nice for him to enjoy some warmth without me running back and forth trying to fill kettles of water.

I am just waiting for my mini hippo to be delivered.
I already have a big hippo and it is brilliant, also their customer service is amazing.

Ponyjet are shady as!
They literally just photoshopped their logo on the Hippo photo, didn’t even try and make it theirs.
They can’t seem to answer simple questions about the product they are selling.

They did the same with their shampoo dispenser. Charged an arm and a leg for something you could buy for half the price in a local motor factors.

They're dodgy as..

Am waiting for one to be delivered.
Have a big gas one but this was very cheap and will save on gas for leg washing .

Avoid pony jet at all costs , as above they stole the images and I ordered a pony jet sprayer, it took a month to arrive with no communication from them unless I chased and chased . Clearly drop shipped from China .I wanted to send it back but actually didn’t trust them to refund me !

Mine arrived this morning, and first impressions are it’s a solid little thing. I’ll have a play around with the hoses when I go up to the yard this evening and let you know what I think of it in action.

Agree re the issues around the Ponyjet version, the answers to some of the questions on their FB advertising really wouldn’t fill me with confidence, whereas Hippo seem to know their stuff. I’d already pre-ordered the Hippo before the Ponyjet launch and subsequent controversy (their original photos were very clearly stolen from Hippo) but based on the interactions of both companies with their customers, I wouldn’t change my mind on which version to buy.

I’m looking forward to playing with it later on!

So I managed to have a little play this evening, and I learned that I need better hose connectors than the rubbish ones I scrounged together from around the yard! But apart from the fact that there was water coming out of the hose joins (definitely the fault of the connectors!) it did seem pretty good, and it’s a solid little thing. I need to have a play around with the water flow going through it to get it right, and find the spray head rather than the bucket nozzle but it was warming up nicely and will definitely be fine for legs, tails, summer coat baths or sensitive souls like little Welshie.

I fully intend to give it a better test at the weekend when I’ve got a bit more time. It should be a big improvement on a bucket and cold hose though!

Mine arrived today as well. I got the temp up to 37, but I wouldn’t call it warm…fine for just washing off on a hot day to take the edge off the cold, or maybe ok in the winter for tails etc, but I’d definitely want it warmer for a cold or mild day
