I do, have had it for years and it's great. The difference is the trolley is made to fit the gas bottle in entirely rather than just plonked on a random trolley. It means it's protected from horses kicking out and sparks etc the back of it is open so you can turn it in and off.

The actual unit that heats the water is bespoke too and I've found it works in all weathers, whereas people who have had other versions have had trouble with it freezing, flame blowing out etc. You do have to make sure it's empty of water before storage though, which is very easy to do, just detach both hoses and tip the unit back slightly, the water will then drain out.

Love mine, still working great and coming up to 8 years old 😀 🦛

I think (from what non-horsey OH tells me) they’re pretty much the same as a camping/carvan shower. I got an external hot tap fitted at home so I can connect the stables to the hot tap for winter baths.

Are they a decent pressure?

I need some sort of horse wash facility before next winter. I bought the cob with white stockings in Spring and didn't really think about how disgusting they'd be in winter - which has gone on forever this year.

Get a camping shower at a fraction of the cost. They're massively over priced for a camping shower on a trolley.

Yes the pressure is good, I have a fluffy footed cob and it's a real lifesaver

I’ve just bought a much cheaper version, still with the trolly etc, but have yet to use it so can’t recommend yet 🤣.

I couldn’t justify the difference in price for a pretty colour (and trust me I did debate I love an pretty thing 🤣🙈) and the trolly being custom made for £545 and the generic version for £265.

Also the cheaper one is 18l per minute vs hippo shower at 8l per minute, but I’m not actually sure what that difference means in use…

Mine is just a camping type one i think, its certainly not a horsey branded one. I absolutely love it. Its one of the few things if it broke I'd defintely need to buy another instantly. I use it for the horses but also through winter its been in daily use washing muddy dogs off. Its an absolute god send

Ok I have finally used mine and it works very well, but I’m not convinced by some of the fixings, but even if I need to replace some connections it’s coming in well under the price of the hippo. Have to see how it holds up and lasts but I’m pleased so far, Beryl less so she hates getting wet 🤣.
