I have a large open-fronted barn divided into 5 boxes and additional storage bays. There is an earth floor, currently with some drainage problems. The driving rain of recent weeks has created a lot of mud at the front of the boxes. Before next winter I plan to largely close in the front of the barn (probably with slats to maintain some light and ventilation). Then I need to sort out drainage and flooring. I have had one season on shavings, one on straw and this year on wood pellet but wastage is high with the wet ground and mud at the front of the boxes that gets carried into the bedding. Has anyone tried Hippo Tiles?? Or any other suggestions for flooring other than many truck loads of cement!
