I’m based in the north east and go hunting with my lovely cob! He will jump anything under 80cm…I have a lovely mare that I XC/SJ 80+ but hunting would blow her ginger mind!

For my birthday this year (November) I would love to go to a stunning meet with plenty of jumping (nothing too horrific and no wire/gates) and hire a couple of hirelings. Would travel and stay over up to 2/3hrs drive…

Anyone know of any meets that fit the bill with local briefings that would look after a pair of half decent riders?

Local hirelings not briefings

Thr Cotswolds are very varied. More known for stone walls than hedges, although there are some great hedge days around the edges, particularly the Heythrop and the south of the VWH.
You may be thinking of the Ledbury who pride themselves on their hedge country?
