hiring horse trailers

Whenever we want one for Saturday, we end up having to hire for a whole weekend and it's £70-odd

Still cheaper than buying our own as we don't travel much. Can't advise you on the daily rate, probably around £40. I'm in the expensive South East though.

A weekend hire wouldn't be a problem...I'm hoping to borrow a friends but wanted a ball park figure...does this include insurance?

Hi, i have PM'd you. I am currently setting up a horsebox/trailer hire company on worcestershire. Just to answer you insurance question, it is the responsibilty of the hirer to check there car insurance covers when towing, ninsurance companies only insure the trailer for theift and third part damage, it doesn't cover the trailer when it is attached to a vehicle, when it is it is under the car insurance.

if "borrowing" a friends trailer... be warner, paying them for it is classed as hire and reward, ifit got nicked whilst you were usuing it, insurance prob wouldnt pay out

Im in guildford and may be looking to hire a trailer, to see if my boy will travel in one before I buy one !
Where is the one you hire and what is it>

Also make sure on top of extra insurance that you get Trailer Assist roadside recovery! You don't want to end up stranded!
