hiring horse trailers

how much would you expect to pay to hire a horse trailer and does anyone know any is worcestershire?

Whenever we want one for Saturday, we end up having to hire for a whole weekend and it's £70-odd

Still cheaper than buying our own as we don't travel much. Can't advise you on the daily rate, probably around £40. I'm in the expensive South East though.

A weekend hire wouldn't be a problem...I'm hoping to borrow a friends but wanted a ball park figure...does this include insurance?

Best check with your and friend insurance as I tried to do this and was told neither would cover me using her trailer as it wasn't in my name?!?

Hi, i have PM'd you. I am currently setting up a horsebox/trailer hire company on worcestershire. Just to answer you insurance question, it is the responsibilty of the hirer to check there car insurance covers when towing,ninsurance companies only insure the trailer for theift and third part damage, it doesn't cover the trailer when it is attached to a vehicle, when it is it is under the car insurance.

i know we payed £30 a day for one but it a 5`10 and the 5`5 is only £25. so i guess it would be the same price up/down there.

if "borrowing" a friends trailer... be warner, paying them for it is classed as hire and reward, ifit got nicked whilst you were usuing it, insurance prob wouldnt pay out

Also make sure on top of extra insurance that you get Trailer Assist roadside recovery! You don't want to end up stranded!
