Hiring horses?

Does anyone know any decent places you can hire horses for private trekking, or guided rides for up to three days. Anywhere in the country we aren't really fussed. I just don't want to go to a centre and end up on some slow coach in a huge group of people. I'd rather pay more and get some decent riding in.

Any suggestions?

Do you mean go for 3 days in a row, or stay at the place? We do wonderful hacks in Cirencester park - you can go for hours and not go to the same place!

Whereabouts do you want, we have some fab riding at our place, including a little paddle in pond. Visit to ice cream vans. Plenty of cantering and just general fun riding. If you request and show you can ride they would put you on something less ploddy. We are east sussex, pm me if interested

There's a company in Wales called Free Rein that do just that.
